The Kordon® Termite Barrier is a flexible and durable laminate designed to stop termites accessing the property through the foundations.  It does this by providing a barrier between the ground and building.

  • Between the layers of robust, flexible laminate, Kordon contains a chemical called deltamethrin, which is highly repellent to termites.
  • Kordon is installed under the property and layered into areas where termites may seek easy access during the construction process. (Kordon Installation Process)
  • Kordon is designed to stop any concealed termite access beneath the property.
  • Termites will only be able to access the property externally and be visible as mudding on the outer walls.
  • The termites can be detect during the Design Pest annual warranty inspection, where appropriate actions can be taken to protect the property.
